Dixie Borden was a wonderful colleague at Valencia College who made a significant difference in the lives of so many people. I worked with her for many years, and found her always to be so pleasant, and a person who truly cared about helping others. She was a professional's professional. Many people who passed through the college and who are now working all over the world benefited from her kindnesses and commitment, often unseen to them. My sympathies go out to her family and close friends. I truly enjoyed knowing and working with Dixie.

Jeff and I were so saddened to hear about Dixie. She was like a second Mom to Jeff when he started college. Dixie was one of the kindest most loving lady you could have ever known, and we both were so blessed to have known such a beautiful woman. We will definitely miss her awesome smile and kind love. All our love goes out to Dillard Sr, Gail and Ron, Dillard and Kathy. We all will have such a loving angel watching over us. We Love you Dixie.
