Aida Maldonado Maldonado

With profound love and deep sorrow, the family of Aida Maldonado announces her passing.

Aida was born on April 20,1931, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the oldest of eight childrens born to Arstey Maldonado and Hermogenes Maldonado.

During her marriage to Antonio Abolafia, they had three daughters, Gloria, Adanis and Sonia who she cherished with a fierce and unwavering love.

Aida was a proud and devoted grandmother to six grandchildrens, they called her Mami Aida. From those grandchildrens she had 9 Great grandchildrens and one great-great grandchild.

Aida fought with courage, grace, and a strength that could only come from God. Her spirit-loving, gentle, selfless, and always ready to help-remained unchanged even through the hardest moments. Her life was a testimony of faith, family, and love in its truest form.

Though our hearts ache, we rejoice in knowing that she is now resting in the arms of her God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her love will continue to guide us, her laughter will echo in our memories, and her faith will forever be our example
