Aida R. Nieves

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aida Rivera Nieves, who passed peacefully on June 23, 2025 at the age of 82 years old.

Known to many as Cuty, she was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on the 15th of November 1942. In 1981 she relocated her entire family to Central Florida where she built a home for the next 44 years. Aida was a strong, devoted and loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Jose G. Nieves and her children Jose G. Nieves, Igdalia L. Benitez and Denis J. Nieves, her pride and joy. She took great pleasure in spending time with her 11 Grandchildren, Victoria, Josue, Analia, Joey, Bailey, Johana, Jose, Lailiani, Raeden, Anaya and Mia. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will never forget the happiness and love she brought to their lives.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 27th, 12pm at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL., where family will receive friends beginning at 10am. She will be laid to rest immediately following services in Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.
