Alice Rivas

Alice M. Rivas, 73, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on Friday, October 1, at Advent Health Orlando. Alice was born September 9, 1948, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to the late Carmen Lopez [Rodriguez] and Carlos Lopez Duprey. She was married on February 6, 1972 to Angel A. Rivas.

Alice graduated from Lehman College, formerly Hunter College, with a B.S. in Accounting. For over forty years she worked as an auditor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield both in New York and in Florida. She was a member of the Spring Meadows Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Sanford, Florida. Alice loved spending time with her extended family and friends.

Alice is survived by her husband, Angel; her daughters Sandra and Monica; her sons-in-law Justin and Orlando; her grandchildren, Orlando and Isaac; her brothers, Hiram and Manuel; her sister-in-law Ivonne; and her niece and nephews Erika, Alejandro, and Andres.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 9, at the Spring Meadows Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 3 p.m.
