Alma Grace Evering McLean, born on June 26, 1931, in Mile End, St. Ann, Jamaica, lived a life markedby faith, resilience, and unconditional love for her family. Raised in a close-knit family, she embracedher Christian faith early, serving as an organist and participating in church singing groups.

In the late 1960s, she migrated to the United States, where she worked as a privateaide, domestic worker, and nurse's aide. Throughout her life, she remained devoted to her family andactive in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Later, she married Alfred Henry in 2004 and dividedher time between England and the United States before spending her final years in Florida.
