Ana Libia Camacho de Molina

Libia Camacho de Molina passed away peacefully at noon on August 18, 2026. Her firm belief in God supported her struggle during illness and ultimately gave her security in the promise of Eternal Life.

Libia was born to the late Juan Silvestre Camacho Carvajal and Benilda Galván Ortiz in Colombia on October 1st, 1944. She was the 8th kid among twelve brothers and sisters. Her parents sent her to study in Icolven , Medellín, where she attended Commercial Secretary studies and also studied to be an Elementary School Teacher. During vacation time she would travel to Venezuela to sell books door to door to finance her studies. After graduating she taught in Bogotá for a few years.

On December 22, 1968 she married Germán Molina and together they served the church in different areas of Colombia; after their daughter Martha Ivette was born the family moved frequently and in each location she actively participated organizing charitable events for the Dorcas Society, dictating courses of vegetarian cooking and giving biblical studies.

After retirement the family moved to Medellín and in 2015 she came to live permanently in America where she enjoyed seeing nature, specially fields of blooming flowers and keeping contact with her relatives when she could visit them.

Her softness, compassion, hospitality and hearty cooking will remain in the memory of those who have been deeply touched by her presence on earth.

Having been predeceased by parents, husband, brothers: Agapito, Luis, Hugo and Alfonso; sisters Maruja, Matilde, Odila, Elena and Gabriela; nephews William and Edgar and niece Brígida.

She leaves behind a loving family: Prof. Moisés Camacho (Brother), Dr. Elca Reimer (Sister), daughter, son in law, grandson, nieces and nephews.

The family wants to express deep gratitude to the family Montances Brucal; Uncle Tito, Maximo, Sister Precy, Ms. Verna and Mr. Hector for their generosity and constant support and to RN Mr. Manuel Adán for providing such careful supervision and assistance every single day for many years until almost her last breath.

Also we appreciate the skilled care and attention received from Dr. René Pareja, Dr. Miryam Escobar, Ing. Eddy Mesa and family during her last trip to Colombia.

We will never forget the relatives and friends who pray for her recovery, called, visited and today are here in solidarity to our grief.
