Angela Acevedo - Martin

Angela Marie Acevedo Martin, 52, beloved wife of John J. Martin, was unexpectedly called home to heaven on September 2, 2020. She entered this world on February 24, 1968, in Orlando, FL, born to Ismael Acevedo and Sheila Devine Acevedo. Angela worked as a switchboard operator in a hotel, in auto part sales, completed her bachelor's degree, and became a teacher of all main subjects for middle school. She especially enjoyed teaching students with special needs, as she knew so well the challenges of disability. She is survived by her beloved husband John J. Martin, step-daughter, Kayla Feaselman and husband John Richard Feaselman, sister-in-law, Kimberly Kramp and family, her dear mother, the Rev. Sheila D. Acevedo Limontas and step-father, Fitz Gerald Limontas, step-sisters Bridgette Limontas and family, and Jessica Limontas. Left with everlasting memories is her sister Margarita A. Acevedo Fiduccia, (nephews Alex Fiduccia, Anthony Fiduccia, William Denton), and Damion Denton. She also is missed by her step-mother Helen Thomas-Acevedo and step-brother Larry Ebeling. Her Godmother and aunt, Cheryl S. Ward and family, uncle retired U.S.A.F. SSgt. Patrick T. Berry and aunt Magali Georges, and aunt Lisa Sabrkhani and family share our great loss. Angela is greatly missed by her uncle Jesus Acevedo, Jr. and aunt Carolyn Sue Acevedo, her aunts, uncles and the Acevedo and Bilbraut families. Angela further leaves her dear "aunt", Dr. Glenda N. Garrett, and "uncle" Emmanuel Garrett, (Erika Garrett, Manny Garrett, Elisha Carr and family) and the Nelson and Garrett families. Angela's friends Bianca Loiacono (Goddaughter Riley Loiacono), and the Loiacono family, Selma Burgess Bayton, Bill Vermillion and family, Barbara Anderson Mullica and family, and the Ramos family, many classmates from Edgewater High School, the Edgewater Marine JROTC and Palm Beach Atlantic University have all expressed their pain at her leaving. There are many more friends throughout in the U.S.A., as well as internationally who will remember Angela's kindness, love, advice, and calmness during the storms of life, as she was only a phone call, text message or social media post away. On September 26, 2020 a social distanced and mask required Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 East Semoran Blvd. Apopka, FL 32703. In lieu of flowers or cards,her sister and mother established the Angela Marie Acevedo Memorial Funds GoFundMe to assist John Martin with burial and related expenses of her sudden passing.
