Surrounded by his parents and immediate family, our beloved son, brother and father of three, Anthony Rodriguez, peacefully passed away at the age of 40 the morning of August 22, 2019.
Anthony was born on November 24, 1978 in Bridgeport, CT and became a Florida resident the summer of 1987 at the age of 8. He graduated from Edgewater High School and then became a butcher for Star Meat Market in Orlando, FL for many years until recently when he began working as a butcher for Best Meats in Wildwood, FL.
Anthony loved food and his favorite meal was lasagna. Those closest to him will always remember him by “Tuffy” the name given to him as a child because as an infant he always use to look mad. We will fondly recall his beautiful thick dark hair, warm engaging smile (with dimples on both cheeks), his big heart filled with love for his family and friends, his quick and tough reactions in certain situations, his generous spirit and his determination not to leave us any sooner than he had to without saying goodbye.
He is survived by his parents Lucila and Ruben Vicente, his brother Otoniel Coco Rodriguez, Jr. (Kimberly Peña-Rodriguez), his two sisters Damarys Rodriguez Clayton (Shelton Clayton) and Christina Vicente, his three children Anthony Isaiah Rodriguez, Anthony Elias Rodriguez and Jasmine Yamile Rodriguez, two nieces, two nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Calvary Orlando Church located at 1199 Clay Street, Winter Park, FL 32789 at 11am followed thereafter by interment at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetary located at 3329 E. Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703 at 1pm.
