Beryl May Harte, 96, passed away peacefully. Born in Jamaica, she later lived in New York and Florida, where she spent many years.
Beryl had a background in nursing and was a steady presence in the lives of those around her. She and her beloved husband, Richard, were known for opening their home and hosting meals and gatherings over the years.
She is remembered by her niece Stacey and her children, Chenele and Camille; her stepchildren, Nebert, Terry, Valerie, Keith, Michael, and Sandra; and her grandchildren, Ronsheka, Schintell, Alazye, Juanathan, Adam, Andrea, Ainsley, Richard, and Robert.
Beryl is now reunited with her beloved Richard, whom she held dear. Entrusting her to the mercy and love of God, we pray that she rests in His eternal peace and that perpetual light may shine upon her.
A funeral service will be held at Bear Lake United Methodist Church in Altamonte Springs, presided over by Pastor Wade Eshelman.
