Betty Flanagan

Betty Jayne ("BJ") Flanagan
age 90, went to be with the Lord and to finally reunite with her husband, Fred Flanagan, since his death 22 years ago. Her journey on this earth ended peacefully in Texas where she resided for the past ten years, surrounded by her four children, Sherry Kobia (Noel), Michele Orshal (Suzie), Mike Flanagan (Kathy) and Tim Flanagan, all of whom she loved so dearly. BJ was devoted to her family making so many sacrifices of herself for them. After raising her children in a way many of us could only dream of, she continued to impact the succeeding generations of nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren (soon to be increased by two more) with equal devotion and in a profound and meaningful way. BJ's legacy will be the values and faith she instilled and passed on to her family and friends with a quiet strength reflecting the same love, humility, acceptance and grace of her Lord and Savior. While BJ's sweet spirit will be greatly missed, she will live on in the hearts of those of us that were fortunate enough to witness a life lived so well. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019, 11am - 1pm at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL.; where funeral services will be held immediately following. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka FL.
