age 80 of Longwood, Florida, died Wednesday, April 28. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 7, 1940, and moved to Forest City, Florida with his parents and sister in 1955. He graduated from Forest Lake Academy in 1958 and attended William & Mary College in Virginia. John spent his life as an entrepreneur with an emphasis in real estate investments and used his creative talents in designing and building custom homes in the Central Florida area. Born with an adventurous spirit, John traveled the world and explored many backroads with his wife, Judy. He loved sport fishing and any activity where he could enjoy God's nature. John was a lifelong Seventh-day Adventist with a strong faith and love for God. He gave his life to the Lord and was baptized with his father at the age of 9, and has been a positive, uplifting influence upon so many people over the years. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy; daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Green; son, Johnny Rolls (Alan Schwartz); grandson, Matt (Brooke) Green; close nieces and nephews, Mary, William, Terry, Lori, Cindy, Sharon, Ray, Heather, their children, spouses, and many extended family and friends; and best friend, John McGavock (Marie). John was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Elizabeth Rolls (2006); his two sisters, Margie Parker Mendez (2001); Audrey Harnage Connelly (2020); and his beloved grandson, Will Green (2015).
