Cecilio Lopez Barrios

Cecilio I. Lopez Barrios, 85, of Apopka, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2019, surrounded by his son, Hiram Lopez and family.
He was born to parents Juan Lopez Vejareno and Juana Barrios Esquijarosa on February 1, 1934 in Taguaspo, Provincia de La Villas, Cuba.
Cecilio loved the Lord with all his heart. His passion for the Lord compelled him to be a colporteur in Cuba and New Jersey.
He was a beloved husband and married the love of his life, Digna Zorilla Lopez. They shared 55 wonderful years of marriage.
Cecilio was an avid farmer and an animal lover. He touched many lives with his kindness and love. He always brought joy to those around him with his willingness to help anyone in need. He was known for his quick wit, his kind and compassionate spirit and infectious smile that would light up a room.
Cecilio is survived by his four children. Daughter Bilda Drumheller and her husband Vernon of Prosperity, WV; son Hiram Lopez and his wife Lucy of Apopka, FL; daughter Keila Gowell and husband Christopher of Winter Park, FL; son Inacio Gabriel Lopez of Salt Lake City, UT; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews and numerous other family members.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Sheeler Oaks Spanish SDA Church, Apopka, FL. He will be laid to rest, after the service, in Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.
