Damian Valentin

Damian Valentin, 59, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, passed away on January 15, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1966, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Juan C. Valentin Borrero and Emilia R. Valentin.

Damian moved from Connecticut to Florida in 1990 with his family. He worked for many years as an industrial and commercial electrician in the Orlando, Florida area, a trade in which he took great pride. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, Damian was always willing to lend his skills to help family, friends, and anyone in need-whether with electrical work or other projects.

In 2002, Damian met the love of his life, Angela Valentin. After two months of dating, they were married and shared seven loving years of marriage. Their bond continued for another 16 years, and together they were blessed with a daughter, Anastasia Valentin.

Damian was a devoted and caring husband, father, son, and brother. He enjoyed building models, spending time with his family, and being with his two beloved dogs, Sky and Bruno. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Damian is survived by his life partner, Angela Valentin; his daughter, Anastasia Valentin; and his father, Juan C. Valentin. He was predeceased by his mother, Emilia R. Valentin. He is also survived by his sisters, Emilia "Millie" Valentin and Anita Valentin-Colon; his niece, Mariah Lindo; his nephews, Kevin Antrum, Julian McGee, and Christian Valentin; his great-nieces, Kiamora Antrum, Ava McGee, and Athena McGee; and his great-nephew, Kevin Antrum Jr.
