Darolynne Caryl Washick, of Orlando FL, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2019.
She was born in 1937, in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Mabel Elizabeth (Anderson) Feid. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended Wright Junior College in Chicago, IL. She was married to Richard Washick in 1957. Darolynne moved from Chicago to the sunny skies of Orlando in 1974. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who truly enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, gardening and following national politics.
Darolynne is survived by her sister, Clarice Sterba of The Villages, FL, her three children: Kathleen Watson (Bruce) of Granite Shoals, TX and granddaughters Kristina of San Francisco, CA and Stephanie Kuethe (John) of Scottsdale, AZ, Richard Washick (Vicki) of Cleveland, TN and grandchildren Justin of Orlando, FL and Jennifer of Knoxville, TN, and Robert Washick (Susan) of Orlando, FL and grandson Noah of Orlando, FL. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas W. Washick of Orlando, FL, her parents, Joseph and Mabel Elizabeth (Anderson) Feid, sisters Violet, Evelyn, Lucille and Fern and brothers Joseph, Raymond, Eugene and Marvin. Her family is appreciative and extends the warmest thanks to the nurses and staff at Windsor Place and The Commons at Orlando Lutheran Towers and the nurses and staff both at Orlando Regional Medical Center hospital and Cornerstone Hospice at ORMC in Orlando. Her family is very grateful to Pastor Steven Blumer of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Orlando and Dr. Thomas J. Katta MD in Orlando for their friendship and kindness over the years.
A private funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Highland Memorial Gardens at 3329 East Semoran Blvd., Apopka, Fl. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Darolynne's name to Risen Savior Lutheran Church at 1331 S.
