Diana passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother,
sister, aunt, and grandmother who was deeply loved by her family and friends. She
leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever.
Diana was the beloved daughter of Lucille and Raymond and the oldest of their eight
children. From the very beginning of life, family was an important part of who she was.
She built a beautiful family of her own with her loving husband, Dail , and was devoted
to her children Tracy and Christina. When Diana became a grandmother to Kyle,
Joshua, and Christopher, her cup runneth over with joy.
Diana had a heart full of love... She may have been tiny in stature, but she had a big
personality and an even bigger heart. She brought laughter and warmth wherever she
went. She enjoyed the simple things that made life special -her coffee, shopping, finding
that perfect gift for a loved one, and spending time with family. She loved to talk and
share stories, and was always the last one to finish a meal. These great conversations are
now treasured memories.
Diana loved getting dressed and always took pride in looking beautiful, head to toe. She
would light up a room not only with her beauty, but with her personality and laughter.
Her presence could fill a room.
Diana worked in the hospitality industry for many years and took pride in the work she
did. The people she met along the way became extended family. She made everyone feel
welcomed and heard, creating relationships that lasted many years.
Diana loved spending time with her husband, Dail. She looked forward to their annual
anniversary trip to the beach. This was a special tradition they both loved and looked
forward to, enjoying the sand and surf and finding new places to explore and dine. The
beach will always hold a special place in Dail's heart, as he and his bride spent many
years celebrating their love there.
Diana always treasured every opportunity to spend time with the people she loved. She
shared a very special bond with her mother, Lucille, who passed away a few years ago.
The two loved going out to lunch and browsing through their favorite stores. Some of
Diana's favorite moments were spent at Mt. Dora Pizza with her sisters and nieces
sharing food, stories, and laughter. These ordinary moments became precious memories
that her family will treasure.
Diana is survived by her husband, Dail, and her children, Tracy and Christina.
Grandchildren Kyle, Christopher and Joshua., Sisters Sherry, Lynn, Karen and Donna. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy and Larry,
sister, Barbara Ann, and parents, Lucille and Raymond Penley.
Diana's battle may have come to an end, but the love she gave and the memories she
created will never fade. She will forever hold a place in the hearts of her family and
friends until we see her again in Heaven.
