Donald Bernardi

BERNARDI, DONALD E.
- age 84 of Clermont FL.; passed away May 19, 2018. He was born October 8, 1933 in Milford, MA. Don served in the US Army in Korea. Don was a resident of Holliston, MA. before moving his family to Florida in 1979. Don was employed at Lockheed Martin as the Optical Department Manager. He was instrumental in developing procedures for the fabrication of precision optical components used by the military. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 1993. He is survived by his precious wife of 60 years, Joan A. Bernardi; three daughters, Jennie (Harold) Freeman of Sorrento, FL., Linda Garrett of St. Petersburg, FL., & Sheila (Phillip) Jordan of Los Gatos, CA. Don is also survived by 5 grandchildren, & 4 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd, 11am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th St., Clermont FL.; where a visitation will be held prior beginning at 10:15am. Mr. Bernardi will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas, 127 N. Bay St, STE 200, Eustis FL. 32726 in Donald's memory.
