Donald John Gray

Donald John Gray, 89, passed away on June 26, 2026. Born in Woodbury Heights, NJ, on November 25, 1936, he was a devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend, and faithful witness. At 20, Don joined the U.S. Army and volunteered for the Operation Whitecoat biodefense research program. During this time, he married his beloved life partner, Shirley Greer. Known for his legendary work ethic, he later founded American Stainless and Aluminum Products, Inc. alongside Shirley. Don loved fast cars, boats, planes, storytelling, and pranks, but he remained deeply anchored by his core values of faith, family, and generosity. He constantly studied his Bible, shared God's love, and cherished staying in close touch with loved ones. Predeceased by his parents and four siblings, Don leaves behind his wife, Shirley; his children, Shay (Louis), Donna (Kirk), and Michael (Linda); 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother Norman; and many nieces and nephews. His greatest legacy lives on through the generations he loved. Don now rests, awaiting the second coming of the Lord. We will carry his lessons, his love, and the memories he gave us for the rest of our lives. Until we meet the Lord in the air and remain with Him forever.
