Doris Ryan

Doris was born in Jackson, WI on September 26, 1934 to Walter O. Wagner and Martha Clausing Wagner. She passed from this life on June 24, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, James Stephen Ryan as well as 2 sisters, Beverly Werner and Lois Zandt. She is survived by her brother, Carl Wagner and his wife Karen of Colorado Springs, CO. Also survived by 4 nieces, 7 nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Doris resided in Wauwatosa, WI working as a bookkeeper before moving to The Springs in Longwood, FL in 1980 some 40 years ago. She worked as a bookkeeper for Central Property Management in Longwood and retired in 2009. She married James Ryan in 1987. Jim and Doris were very active in the community. They both served on The Springs board of directors. Doris enjoyed playing bridge with the group in The Springs. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, cruising, and spending time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Doris' Life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020, 1:30pm at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL. 32703. She will be laid to rest immediately following in Highland Memory Gardens.
