Edith Carolyn Friend

Edith Friend, 88. Our beloved Spouse and Mother, passed away on September 23, 2025. Married to Donald, they enjoyed 72 years of marriage. Taking many cruises and winning at the slot machines.

She loved her family and was happiest when she could be with them. Daughters Rita Dortch (Jerry) and Cheryl Rainer (Stan), her 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren plus multiple extended family. She loved them all.

She was proceeded death by her son Donald Jr., her parents and siblings.

There will be a Gathering for Family and Friends at 10:30 A.M. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 A.M. on Saturday October 11th in the Chapel at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 East Semoran Blvd. Apopka, Florida 32703.
