Emilio Ramos

September 25, 1929 — October 27, 2025

Gotha

Emilio was born on September 25, 1929, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. From humble beginnings, he grew into a man of strength, service, and compassion. He answered the call of duty and served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War, embodying courage and dedication. After his military service, Emilio continued to serve his community, working for the City of New York for 25 years until his well-earned retirement.

But Emilio’s true joy was found in the simple, beautiful moments—laughing with his family, sharing stories, and offering a helping hand. He had a gift for humor and a heart full of generosity. Whether you needed financial help or just a ride to the doctor, Emilio was there—no questions asked, no hesitation.

Later in life, Emilio relocated to Florida, where he experienced a profound spiritual awakening. He gave his life to Christ and became a devoted member of Iglesia Gracia de Dios in Orlando. His faith deepened, and he served as a deacon, continuing his lifelong commitment to helping others and living with purpose.

Emilio’s kindness, humility, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. He is proceeded by his loving wife of Sixty-Eight years Monserrate (Monse). He is survived by his sons Emilio Jr. and his wife Robyn, William, David and his wife Jeanette. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren—Lisa, Jennifer, and David—and his great-grandchildren Zoe, Eva, Olivia, Emilia, and Miles.

Emilio Ramos was a man of honor, laughter, and love. His life was a testament to service, faith, and family.
