Faith Brotman

Faith Eve Brotman, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on June 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bronx, NY and raised in Long Island she graduated from Hampton Bays High School. She received her RN from Mount Sinai School of Nursing. She married Kail S. Brotman on February 14, 1954 and they were married 64 years. She moved to Florida with her husband and children in 1967. She had a long career in nursing as a Labor and Delivery nurse and served as the Head Nurse at Broward General Medical Center. After retiring from her nursing career, Faith ran a home day care center out of her home for 5 years. She was an active volunteer in ORT, Shakespeare Theater, Literacy programs and the Altamonte Springs Public Library.
Faith is survived by her husband, Kail S. Brotman and her brother and sister-in-law, Kalman and Ellen Heller of Wayland, MA and her sister, Janice Heller of Boxborough, MA. Her devoted children are, Mindy and Michael Guido of Altamonte Springs, Mark and Yris Brotman of Hollywood, Joel Brotman of Woodstock, Georgia and Cyd and Luke Alderman of Lake Worth. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Jessica and Kenny Mosseri, Christopher and Cortney Guido, Jason Brotman, Rachel Brotman, Katie Brotman, Liz and Sam Lough, Jacob Alderman and Hannah Alderman as well as her dear great grandchildren, Isaac Mosseri and Evelyn Mosseri. She was also loved by her niece and nephews, Steven Heller and his son Gavin of Laguna Niguel, CA and Greg and Kim Heller and daughter Samantha of Natick, MA.
Services were held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Highland Memorial Gardens in Apopka. Contributions in her memory may be made to the oncology unit at the Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children, 601 East Rollins Street, Orlando, Florida 32803.
