In Loving Memory of Francisco Escobedo
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Francisco Escobedo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and pillar of our community. Francisco departed from this world on December 18, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and lasting memories.
Born on October 4, 1933, Francisco grew up in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, where he developed a deep sense of the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of those around him. Throughout his life, he demonstrated unwavering dedication to his family and friends, always putting their needs above his own.
Francisco's commitment to education and personal growth was evident throughout his career. He was a car mechanic, taxi driver, draftsman and machinist. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated and hardworking individual, always willing to lend a helping hand and share his knowledge with others.
At the core of Francisco's life was his role as a loving spouse, parent, and grandfather. He was the devoted husband to Celina Escobedo, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. As a father, Francisco was a constant source of guidance and support, instilling values of compassion, resilience, and perseverance in his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his professional and familial roles, Francisco was an active and respected member of Saint Magdalene Catholic Church. Whether volunteering his time as an usher for over 10 years, participating the Juan XXIII movement, or simply offering a friendly smile to his neighbors, he leaves behind a legacy of generosity and his Catholic spirit that will be remembered for years to come.
Francisco's passing leaves a void that cannot be easily filled, but we find solace in the memories we shared with him and the positive impact he had on the lives of so many. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of his life, remembering the joy he brought to others and the love he spread throughout our community.
A Funeral Mass to honor Francisco's life will be held on Friday, December 22nd, 10am at Saint Magdalen Catholic Church, located at 861 Maitland Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL. Mr. Escobedo will be laid to rest immediately following in Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL.
May Francisco rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and uplift us all.
