Hazel Aileen Swails, age 92 of Mount Dora, FL passed away peacefully on Aug 28, 2026. Born on July 19, 1934 in Micco, FL to Sampson and Bessie Yates.

She is Survived by her son Charles Stubbs (Gloria) of St Cloud, FL. Grandsons Charles Stubbs Jr & Brian Carter. Grandaughters Candra Spencer & Cristy Jericho and 9 great grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by her parents Sampson & Bessie Yates. Her husband Thomas Swails, daughter Shirley Gail Carter and Siblings Ronald Yates, Russell Yates, Betty Ster and Marianne Jackson.

Aileen retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 plus years in quality control. She enjoyed being with her family and time spent on the water whether it was fishing, on a cruise or simply being at the beach. She adored all of her dogs she owned over the years.

Aileen will be laid to rest at a private burial at Highland Memory Gardens later this week.
