Mrs. Hetty Janet (Short) Evans, age 95, of Orlando, passed away on March 3rd 2026, at her residence. She was born September 11, 1930 in Otway, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Clara Short.
Hetty was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert Evans, Jr.
She enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with family.
Hetty is survived by her daughter and son-in law: Debbie (Evans) Card, (Harold Card III) of Orlando and two grandchildren: Sean Card, his daughter (Lillian); Ryan Card, his wife Emily and their daughter (Annie). She is also survived by a niece, Charlene Short of Vincennes, IN.
Funeral Service and Burial will be held 3/12/26 at Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Apopka.
