Ivan Acevedo Rodriguez

Ivan Acevedo Rodriguez, 68, beloved Spouse, Son, and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on May 20, 2025. He entered this world on November 9, 1956 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, born to Pablo Acevedo Cruz and Carmen Aida Rodriguez Encarnacion. Ivan was an avid gardener, who loved growing his own fruits, vegetables and herbs. He loved to cook, camping with his family and being in the outdoors and nature. He also enjoyed spending time God, his family and helping others.

He is survived by his spouse Nelly Gomez; daughter Kiomarie Guzman; daughter Xiomara Isanoa; son Jose Ivan Acevedo; sister Maria Del Carmen Acevedo Rodgriguez; brother Hector Luis Acevedo Rodgriguez and 5 grandchildren Aryanna, Ashton, Cathleen, Camila and Manolo. Ivan loved God and his family deeply.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 12pm at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL.; with inurnment to follow at Orlando Memorial Gardens.

Ivan was the best husband, dad and grandpa in the world and will be greatly missed.
