In Loving Memory of Jeremy Allen Sparling
August 4, 1981 – July 16, 2026
Jeremy Allen Sparling, 44, of Longwood, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2026.
Born on August 4, 1981, Jeremy lived a life defined by service, loyalty, and love for his family. He proudly served his country in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) as an Infantry Soldier in the United States Army from 2001 to 2004, earning an Honorable Discharge. During his military service, he received numerous awards and decorations, including two Army Achievement Medals, the Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Expert Infantryman Badge. He also served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait and Iraq.
Following his military service, Jeremy built a successful career as a Network Engineer. He was respected for his intelligence, strong work ethic, and his willingness to help others solve even the most challenging problems. Jeremy found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, cheering on his favorite football teams, watching NASCAR, working on cars, tackling home improvement projects, staying active and fit, and fixing just about anything that needed repair. Above all else, Jeremy treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. Whether sharing a laugh, lending a helping hand, or simply enjoying time together, he made those around him feel loved and valued. His loyalty, kindness, sense of humor, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Sparling; his son, Ryan Sparling; his daughters, Taylor Leksander and Tiffany Leksander; his mother, Janice Budziak (Fred); his grandmother, Carole King; his brother, John Sparling (Michelle); his stepbrother, Robert Martz; several cherished nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Sparling.
Jeremy's life was a testament to courage, dedication, and unconditional love. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he gave will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy of service, strength, compassion, and devotion to his family will never be forgotten.
"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day."
