Jesus Espinoza, affectionately known as Jesse, passed away on August 1st, 2023, in Apopka, Florida, surrounded by his devoted family after a protracted illness. Born on September 23, 1943, in Mission, Texas, to parents Aurelio and Hipolita Espinoza, Jesse's legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Jesse's journey took him from his roots in southern Texas to Aurora, Illinois, where he found his lifelong partner, Ruth Colon. Their marriage in 1964 marked the beginning of a remarkable journey together. Jesse's entrepreneurial spirit led them to Colorado in 1977, where he founded the successful construction business, Azteca, which he operated for many years.  Through hard work and determination, he provided not only for his family but also ensured his children received an Adventist education, a testament to his commitment to their future.

A man of strong faith, Jesse was an active and devoted member of his church, where he served as a deacon. His passions extended beyond his work and faith, as he found joy in fishing, sports, and building creations from scratch. Whether on the water, the field, or in his workshop, Jesse's enthusiasm was infectious.

In his later years, Jesse and Ruth relocated to central Florida to be closer to their beloved family. During this time, he embarked on a new adventure, driving an 18 wheeler across the country for several years. His dedication to his family never wavered, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.

Jesse's legacy lives on through his loving wife of 59 years, Ruth, his children Ivonne Johnson (Dave), Ray Espinoza (Kristin) and Sonia Mann (Rick), as well as his treasured grandchildren Amanda, Megan, Braden, Ben, Jon, and Sophie. He is also survived by his sister, Sandy and her family.

Jesse Espinoza's passing leaves a void in the lives of his family, but they find solace in the knowledge that he is now at peace, resting in the embrace of his Savior, Jesus. As a patriarch, friend, and mentor, his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family eagerly anticipates the joyous reunion that awaits them on the Glorious Day to come.
