In Loving Memory of Jose A. Guzman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jose A. Guzman, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who peacefully journeyed into eternity on December 26, 2023, at his residence in Ocoee, FL. Born on April 1, 1934, in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, Jose led a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was 89 years old.

Although notable for his modesty, Jose's impact on those around him was immeasurable. A man of few words, he possessed a gentle spirit and a heart overflowing with kindness. His warm smile and caring demeanor touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an everlasting impression. Jose placed family above all else and dedicated himself to their well-being.

Jose's journey through life was rich with experiences and accomplishments. While he pursued his education and attained college credit, his true passion came from his vocation as a devoted husband and father. After years of hard work, he retired, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and perseverance to his loved ones.

Jose is survived by his loving spouse, Iraida Guzman, who stood by his side throughout their incredible journey together for 68 years. He also is cherished by daughters and grandsons: Maria Rochet, Annette (David) Lopez, Shaun (Tessa) Rochet, and Justin (Liz) Rochet who will remember his guidance and unwavering support.

To honor Jose's life, family and friends are invited to attend the public viewing, which will be held at Highland Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 4-8pm. This will provide an opportunity for everyone to pay their respects and share cherished memories of this remarkable man.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 am, a mass will take place at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 801 N. Hastings Street, Orlando followed by burial services at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E. Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, FL 32703.

While we mourn the loss of Jose, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives, the love he shared, and the lessons he imparted. May his soul find peace in the embraces of the angels and saints, and may we find solace in the everlasting memories he left behind.

Rest in eternal peace, dear Jose A. Guzman. You will forever reside in our hearts.
