Kevin Edward Trenski

October 9, 1958 — July 20, 2023

Altamonte Springs

July 20, 2023, Kevin Trenski, 64, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away after a fierce battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  His beloved wife Patricia (Crozier) was at his side.

Kevin was born on October 9, 1958, to Edward and Marie (Myers) Trenski in Long Branch, New Jersey.  After graduating from Middletown High School in 1976 he attended Grove City College and majored in mechanical engineering. In 1978 Kevin met his future wife Pat.  Kevin started work at Middletown Sprinkler Company eventually rising to Vice President.

In 1983 Kevin and Pat married and lived in center city Philadelphia. Drexel University is where Kevin completed his degree.  Kevin tolerated city life but longed for the suburbs. After graduation he moved to Freehold, New Jersey where he began his engineering career at John C Morris and Associates.  He opened that company’s Florida office in 1989.

His children Kathleen (Katie), Samuel (Sam), and Rebecca arrived on the scene to bless his life.  His mother lived close and would deliver chocolate milk shakes to his office daily.  She, and his nephews Michael Trenski and John Lucas helped with his work projects around the house including a drainage system for the Back yard.

The El Paso Corporation called in 2001 and so it was off to Spring, Texas.  Kevin loved working for a big oil company in downtown Houston, but he was happy to have the opportunity to return to Florida just in time for Hurricane Charlie in 2004. His new job was with Eckel and Associates where he rose to majority owner.

Although he was a baseball guy, he fully embraced the sports his children chose to play.  He coached many of Sam’s soccer teams.  He loved watching Katie play volleyball.  He encouraged them both to do work hard and do their best.

Despite being a home body, he did do some travelling with Pat.  They rode horses in Hawaii, hiked the Grand Canyon and hung with the Crozier family in Jamaica for many years.

The most important aspect of Kevin’s life was his love for the Lord. He said he always thought he had a good relationship with God, but cancer helped him have the relationship he needed to have.

Kevin is survived by his wife Pat, his daughter Katie and her husband Matthew Hull, Longwood, Fla and his son Sam, Altamonte Springs, Fl.  He also leaves behind his sister Connie and her husband Keith Hansard, Buford, Ga. and his sister Carolyn Sue, Santa Barbara, Ca.  In addition to his nephews and nieces Michael Trenski, Dunwoody, Ga., John Lucas, Seoul, South Korea, Nicholas (Nick) Crozier, Rochester Hills, Mi, David Crozier, Waterford, Mi, Nathan (Nate) Couture, Westland, Mi, Jessie Couture, West Bloomfield, Mi, Christopher Couture, West Bloomfield, Mi, and Daniel (Dan) Couture, West Bloomfield, Mi.

He was predeceased by his daughter Rebecca and his parents Edward and Marie.
