Leonard Mendoca

October 27, 1943 — August 14, 2022

Winter Park, FL.

My beloved husband, Lenny Mendoca, age 78, died in my arms August 14th with my 2 sons by his side.
My Lenny was a retired Master Sargent in the US Air Force. He gave 21 years of service to our country and 2 tours in Vietnam. When he retired, he worked another 15 years in the US Post Office.
He is survived by me, his wife, Peggy..his brother Kenny, his "twin" brother Denny and his sisters, Marilyn and Sheila....his daughters, Michelle, Rachel and Angie, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He loved his Dallas Cowboys and his Boston Red Sox. Lenny was loved not only by his family, but by all who ever knew him. There is a verse in a song that I love and now it means more to me then ever "Its not what you TAKE when you LEAVE this world behind you. Its what you LEAVE BEHIND you when you go". My Lenny has left behind a legacy of love and kindness for each of us to treasure. Goodbye my Ni. till we meet again, where I will find you in heaven amongst the stars as we talked about so many years ago.

I will hold you in my heart till then..
I LOVE YOU
your forever "daisy girl " Peggy
