Lewis Ernest Collins

- age 94, beloved Father, Son, Husband, Father-in-law, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on June 30, 2023. He entered this world on February 13, 1929 in Russell, TX, born to Clarence Collins and Vivian Collins.

He is survived by his daughters, Karen (Steve) Licko and Paula (Bill) Dillingham; son Alvin ''Buddy" (Nancy) Collins; granddaughter Erin (Paul) Ramirez; grandsons, Craig Campbell, William "Willie" (Natalie) Dillingham, and Andrew Campbell. He is the proud great-grandfather of 10. Lewis is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Collins, now together forever in God's loving care.

Lewis was a skilled craftsman of woodwork and loved blessing others with his masterpieces. When he wasn't in his shop or working at the lumberyard, you would find him busy lending a helping hand or reclined enjoying classic country music. Lewis was a proud veteran of the United States Army from 1951 - 1953.

A Celebration of Life will be held for both Virginia and Lewis on Friday, July 14, 2023, 6pm at Central Church of Christ, 875 Oak Dr., Altamonte Springs, FL. 32714.
