Lewis Owens, 82 of Eustis, Florida passed away on October 15, 2026. Lewis was a beloved Spouse, Son, Grandfather, Uncle, Father in law and Father.

Lewis met and married the love of his life Betty. The two had a beautiful life together. In the late sixties the two moved from Kentucky to Apopka, Florida where they settled in to raise their family. Lewis was a very hard worker. He worked two jobs to save as much as possible so they could buy their first home. In the early seventies he and Betty were able to buy the car lot. This is quite an achievement for a young man and woman from a small town in Kentucky. While running the car lot Lewis and Betty had the opportunity to meet many of their closest friends.

Lewis was an avid drag race fan. He drove his own race car for many years. He continued to support his friends with their own drag race cars. He enjoyed going to the Turkey Rod Run each year. If it had wheels he was all in!

A funeral service in Lewis's honor will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 1pm at Highland Funeral Home with internment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
