Linda Sue Washington, a loving wife, dedicated mother, devoted sister and friend passed away on October 16, 2023, in Orange City, Florida. She was born on January 25, 1952, in Orlando, Florida to Moses Hagans and Lettie Hagans nee Watson.

Linda will forever be remembered for her reliable and proficient work as an administrator. Her colleagues admired her attention to detail and her ability to ensure smooth operations at the tag office. Linda's commitment to her career was evident in every task she undertook, and she left a lasting impact on those she worked with.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda had a vibrant personality that lit up every room she entered. She had a playful sense of humor which brought joy to those around her. Along with her friendly nature, Linda was known for her beautiful smile that could brighten anyone's day.

When she wasn't working or making people laugh, Linda loved spending time with her family. Family get-togethers and holiday gatherings were cherished moments for Linda. She believed in the power of love and connection and ensured that every family gathering was filled with warmth and memorable moments.

Linda also had a unique passion for collecting Santa Claus memorabilia and items related to Elvis Presley. Her collection showcased her lighthearted spirit and love for these pop culture icons. Additionally, she enjoyed going shopping as a way to unwind and explore new trends.

Above all else, Linda's proudest accomplishment in life was being a dedicated mother. She cherished her three children, John D Washington, Brandon Anderson, and Cynthia Wilkins. Linda poured love and support into their lives at every opportunity and instilled important values that they carry with them today.

In this difficult time of mourning, Linda leaves behind her beloved husband John R Washington who stood by her side through thick and thin. His unwavering love and support were a source of strength for Linda. She also leaves behind her sister Moselle Gilbreath, who shared a special bond with her.

The memory of Linda Sue Washington will be honored through memorial services held on November 15, 2023. A Memorial Gathering will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens located at 3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL, 32703. The final Graveside Service will be held at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park, FL, following the memorial service.

Linda Sue Washington's legacy will live on through the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her dedication to her family, her warm personality, and her infectious smile will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
