Lois B. Beasley
Lois B. Beasley, 101, passed away on September 13, 2025. She was born on November 23, 1923, in Camp Walton, Florida. Lois graduated from Paxton High School, where she enjoyed playing on the basketball team.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin A. Booth and Missouri Weeks Booth; her husband, Cleo Beasley; her daughter, Sandra S. Matsumoto; her brothers, William J. Booth, J.D. Booth, and Fred Booth; and her sister, Vercie Adams.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Sharon Beasley and Mary Palmer (Bernard); her grandchildren, Chris Palmer, Kevin Palmer (Ana Rosales), Kelly Araim, and Ashley Palmer; and her great-grandchildren, Emma Petterson, Zane Palmer, Kiai Palmer, Sage Araim, Alejandro Palmer, and Fernanda Palmer, as well as great-great-grandson, Finley Petterson.
Lois loved gardening, painting, spending time with her family, and playing her favorite game, Rummikub. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Winter Park for more than 50 years, where she sang in the choir and found joy in worship until she was no longer able to attend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Funeral Home & Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32703. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
