Dr. Luis E. Morales

Dr. Luis E. Morales went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025, after a long battle with muscular dystrophy. He was a devoted physician, son, husband, father, brother, friend, neighbor and servant of faith. Luis will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and integrity.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debbie, sons Alejandro and Jorge, daughter Ligita and sister Letty as well as his grandchildren and extended family and friends. He found joy in prayer, family, fishing, listening to Andrea Bocelli, Christian music, classical music concerts and helping his patients and comforting others.

Born in Humacao, and raised in Juncos and Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Luis became a physician at the early age of 24. He graduated from Barcelona School of Medicine in Barcelona, Spain and worked in Puerto Rico's main hospitals before moving to Central Florida in 1982 where he was dedicated family practice physician for more than 30 years.

Luis kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. His friends and family remember him as a man of great integrity and warmth. Anecdotes from loved ones capture his love for life and the positive impact he had on those around him. His faith and compassion will continue to guide those he loved.

A home-going service will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Apopka, FL on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to share stories that celebrate Luis' life.
