Maria Teresa Baez

Maria Teresa Baez, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Originally from Santurce, Puerto Rico, Maria met and married her husband Angel Baez and moved to the Bronx, NY to raise their 4 children. They later retired to Casselberry, FL. Maria lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Her main focus was her family. Those that knew her, loved her. Although small in stature she had a giant personality. She was loved for her sense of humor and great cooking. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, and could talk about every show, sport or news story. She also knew the lyrics to just about any song you could think of. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Angel Baez Sr., their four children, and four grandchildren.
