Maria Herrera

It is with heavy hearts that we must say goodbye to our beloved Maria A. Herrera.

She unexpectedly passed away Saturday morning May 16th, 2020, in the comfort of her home. Maria was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, & Mother-in-law.

A joyful woman with a constant smile and contagious laugh. She always lit up a room with her positivity and hilarious jokes. She always looked on the bright side and her motivation to succeed, was an inspiration to many. Her faith in the Lord was remarkable. Her family was her pride and joy.

A successful business owner who immigrated to this country which she loved and made her home. Became a United States citizen which was one of her most recent proud accomplishments. With this we say thank you for the love and support. Mama till we meet again, We love you.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 23rd from 11am-1pm at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL.; where funeral services will be held beginning at 1pm. Mrs. Herrera will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka FL.

Due to restrictions in place because of the COVID-19 virus, service attendance will still be limited at this time. If you would like to listen to the funeral services, we ask that you remain inside your vehicle once in the cemetery and tune your radio to 87.9 FM for the funeral broadcast. The family appreciates your attendance but wants everyone to be safe during this time. Services will also be recorded and placed on our website later on Saturday afternoon.
