Marilyn L. Kolle (aka Marilyn Gray & Marilyn Higgins)
- age 84 of Winter Park FL, Tampa FL, & Franklin NC; passed away January 23, 2019. Marilyn was born July 18, 1934 in New York NY to the late R Romeyn & Louise Higgins. She is the beloved wife of the late Gerald Kolle; dearest mother of James (Sharon) Gray of Tampa FL, Robert (Elise) Gray of Orlando FL, Charles (Ellen) Gray of Louisville KY, & William (Mia) Gray of Huntersville NC ; step-mother of Ruth (Karl) Witsberger of Waxahatchie TX, Cindy (George) Hand of Princeton IL, Naomi Kolle of Kinnesaw GA, & the late Gary Kolle of Orlando FL; grandmother of Bobby Gray, Mike Gray, Tim Gray, Lauren Gray, Kate Brown, Zach Dunphy, Anna Gray, Ryan Gray, Luke Gray, Lara Gray, Valerie & Orval McNeely, & Mathew Hand ; sister of Richard (Crystal) Higgins of Savannah GA & Gordon (Peggy) Higgins of Pittsburgh PA; great-grandmother of Andrew Gray & Emma Gray; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 2pm at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL. Mrs. Kolle enjoyed camping, traveling, playing bingo bridge, rumikub, socializing, and visiting with family and friends. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) in Marilyn's behalf.
