Mary Grace Bonifer passed away on February 17, 2024, in Jacksonville. She was born in Oxford, AL, on October 29, 1936.
Throughout her life, Mary was described as having a lovely laugh that brought joy to those around her. Her proudest accomplishments included raising her family with love and dedication.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters Pamela Colbeck and Patricia (Gary) Lee. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Matthew (Carrie) Smith, Heather Smith, Rebecca (Calvin) Holman, Gary (Darla) Lee Jr., Jennifer (Brian) Lee, and Kenneth Lee. She was also cherished by her great-grandchildren: Braxton Smith, Brielle Smith, Adan Van Dusen, Eva Alemestica, Isabella Alemestica, Hannah Lee, Autumn (Kane) Burch, Mayson Gorden, Braxton, Areynn, Axel, Lee, and Rhygel Stewart. Additionally, she is survived by her great-great-grandchild River Lynn Rose Burch.
Married in 1956 to Kenneth Bonifer who preceded her death as well as her parents James and Louise Sparks and 3 sisters.
A visitation will take place on March 1st at Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Apopka from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM to honor and remember the beautiful life of Mary Grace Bonifer.
Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her but will be fondly remembered for the light she brought into the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace.
