Mary Kathryn Miller
was born in Panama City, Florida on November 6, 1936 and passed away in Kingwood, Texas on October 13, 2019 at the age of 82. She graduated from Lakeview High School in Winter Garden, Florida. Throughout her working career, Mary Kathryn worked in insurance, commercial accounts, and marketing, for Commercial Union, and Travelers. He last employer was Children First Health Care System in Orlando, FL.; where she was an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Ramona Boulevard Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL; Concord Church of Christ in Orlando, FL; Cox Boulevard Church of Christ, Sheffield, AL; and Kingwood Church of Christ, Kingwood, TX.
Mary Kathryn met and married the love of her life, Emmitt Hugh Miller, Sr. on May 1, 1955. Her passion for homemaking, gardening and children, was secondary only to the love she had for her dear husband and her precious family.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Emmitt Hugh Miller, Sr. of Kingwood, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Emmitt Hugh Miller, Jr. & Rachel of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren, Sydney Caldwell of Kingwood, TX, and Jake Miller of Kingwood, TX; great grandchildren, Eleanor Rose Caldwell of Kingwood, TX; brothers and sisters, John Rogers of Ocala, FL, Shirley Woodworth of Orlando, FL, and Jean Butler of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Services are scheduled for 1:30 PM, November 15, 2019 at Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, FL 32703.
