Muriel Peregoy

Muriel Cox Peregoy passed peacefully from this life on June 15th. She was surrounded by family, under care of Vitas Hospice, at Westminster Baldwin Park.

Born March 3, 1928, in Dallas, Texas, Muriel graduated from SMU and in 1951 married John North Jr., also of Dallas. The Norths moved to Altamonte Springs, FL in 1961, and Muriel enjoyed a long career at Rollins College, in the Dean of Students office. She retired in 1984. After John’s death in 1996, Muriel married Winfield (Walt) Peregoy Sr. Muriel is survived by daughter Patricia Fuller (Bradford) of Casselberry, granddaughter Kelsey Brown (Trevor), and son John H. North III (Cathy) of Big Pine Key.
