Paula Wood

Paula Jean Wood

- age 48; passed away February 26, 2024 at the Hospice Center of Tavares, FL. in the early hours. Paula was born in Houston, Texas on November 9, 1975.

Paula attended Lake Mary High School and was a long distance truck driver for the May Trucking Company of Salem, Oregon.

Paula truly loved her job, and she was exceptional at it. Paula was active in sports in her youth and was the only girl that participated in flag football in Volusia County. She was an avid softball player in her youth as well as in her adulthood.

Paula loved the freedom of the open road all the while enjoying her time off with her mother and their dog Cookie.

Paula leaves to cherish her loving memory to her many friends, her mother Mary Lee Smith, father Paul Wood, & brother Brian Wood and Paul Wood Jr.
