Peggy Ann Moore

Peggy Ann Moore, age 67, passed away January 21, 2024, after courageously fighting multiple illnesses. Her personal strength and dignity were an inspiration to all of us.

 She was born in Orlando, Florida.  Yes, an original Floridian! After graduating from Maynard Evans High School she married Jim and became a success at her job for over 20 years.   She loved their RV and Nascar races. Peggy cheered for her favorite drivers over the years and although, she did not always pick the winners, she said Jim’s picks were no better!  

 Peggy also loved nature and she spent hours on her front porch just enjoying the Sandhill Cranes and deer that came to visit.  Peggy and Jim hosted wonderful family gatherings.  She left most of the cooking to Jim, thank goodness. Peggy’s hospitality made the events fun and happy.

 Peggy had a huge heart. She could always be counted on in every way. She spent hours caring for our mother and father in their final days. We will miss Peggy dearly and celebrate her life daily.

 Peggy is survived by her husband Jim, sisters Patty and Susan, her niece Megan and Megan’s new baby boy, Ryder. Peggy will join her grandmother, Beatrice, and grandfather, JB, her uncle Skip, aunt Suzy and Suzy’s husband, Sonny at a family gathering on February 22.
