Ramon Rodriguez

February 22, 1944 — January 11, 2024

Orlando, Florida

Ramon Rodriguez passed away January 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. In the face of Parkinson's, he displayed remarkable courage and resilience, fighting a battle that only strengthened his spirit. Though Parkinson's may have taken him from us, his legacy of hard work and boundless love lives on, a poignant reminder of the remarkable man he was.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Gloria of over 46 years which they shared 5 children; 3 boys and two girls Raymond, Emmanuel, Jonathan, Sandra, and Maite which he loved dearly and constantly bragged about how many grandchildren we gave him.

For over four decades, Ramon Rodriguez, was a visionary entrepreneur in the automotive industry, built an enduring legacy through his own business, E&R Tire. He transformed a humble venture into a thriving success story starting in New York in 1986 and still being run today in Florida. Beyond his career, he exemplified the essence of an amazing family man, balancing the demands of business with love, compassion, and shared moments. His achievements extend far beyond the business realm, resonating in the hearts of family and community alike, defining him as a true patriarch and inspiration.

Ramon was an extraordinary soul who embodied the spirit of an amazing father whose legacy is a tapestry with threads of generosity, sharing, and boundless love. He was a beacon of kindness, and his selfless nature touched the lives of everyone he encountered. In celebrating his life, we honor a remarkable individual whose impact is felt in the warmth of shared memories and enduring love.

Reflecting on the cherished memories of Ramon, what stood out most was the profound wisdom that adorned every conversation, a testament to a life enriched with experiences and learning. His love was a gentle force, a river that flowed unconditionally. Kindness radiated from him, a beacon of compassion that illuminated the darkest corners of our hearts. His fear of God was not just a belief but a guiding principle that infused his actions with integrity and purpose. Yet, perhaps what we loved most was the comforting presence Ramon bestowed upon us—a sanctuary of solace and reassurance that will be deeply missed but forever treasured.

In his leisure moments Ramon found joy as a seasoned domino enthusiast, he reveled in the strategic intricacies of the game, finding companionship and laughter in every match. His true happiness, however, blossomed in the company of loved ones, creating cherished memories during moments spent together. Beyond leisure, he was a dedicated professional, finding fulfillment in his work, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment. Ramon and Gloria were truly great dancers, who lit up every room with their rhythmic grace and infectious love for each other and were partners in every way. At home, he bonded with his sons over shared interests, indulging in the joy of watching anime. Ramon also found solace and delight in the simple act of driving such as the long trips he took from New York to Florida every year with his family while his children were young. Spending time with his best friend and loyal companion, his dog who has passed, Deuce. These hobbies encapsulate the diverse and enriching parts of his life.
