Raul Eduardo Rodriguez

Raul Eduardo Rodriguez passed away on January 19, 2025 leaving behind a legacy shaped by perseverance, curiosity, and quiet strength. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Rodriguez; his son, Erik Rodriguez; and his daughters‑in‑law, Carolina and Maria. He leaves behind six cherished grandchildren, four siblings, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved sons, Jorge Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez.

Born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Raul met the love of his life, Martha, and together they built a family rooted in devotion, resilience, and deep affection. They raised three sons and later found immense joy in welcoming grandchildren into their lives. Raul especially treasured the moments spent playing with them, sharing laughter, stories, and the simple pleasures of being together.

Trained as an engineer, Raul also dedicated many years to academia, where he shared his passion for mathematics with generations of students. He was known for his meticulous approach, his curiosity, and his belief that education could open doors for anyone willing to learn.

Raul's legacy lives on in the family he cherished and in the countless lives he touched through his friendships, his generosity, and his unwavering love for those around him.
