ROBERT R. HORTON, SR.

- age 88 of Longwood, FL.; passed away January 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and 2 granddaughters. Born April 20, 1932 in Everett, GA. He is the beloved husband of 61 years of Estelle V. Horton; dearest father of Tammy (Larry) Land, Robert R. (Doreen) Horton, Jr,. & Tom (Brenda) Horton; proud Papa of Robert (Ashley) Land, Shannon Land, Brittany Horton, Tiffany Horton, & Amber Horton; great Papa of Kennedy Land; brother of Cathy Turner, & Linda Caldwell, pre-deceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, January 25th from 10:30am - 11:45am at First Covenant Church, 1720 Howell Branch Rd., Winter Park FL., where funeral services will be held immediately following at 1pm. Mr. Horton will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.; where he will receive full military honors.
Mr. Horton was a proud veteran of the US Navy, and served during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Mr. Horton was also a fan of watching College Football.
