Ruth Hathaway

Ruth Hathaway, 92, beloved Mother, Wife, Daughter, and Grandmother, was called to Heaven on April 14, 2024. Ruth was born on April 19, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Hiram and Opal Stevens. She married Frank Hathaway and moved with their two small boys to run a farm in Sanford, FL. Ruth and Frank later moved to Maitland, FL where they ran their family business, Hathaway’s Heating and Air Conditioning. Ruth loved God and people. While she endured many losses in her life, she pressed on in joy, spending much of her life serving and  loving others. She maintained a beautiful smile, was kind, generous, loved to laugh, and was full of wit and humor. She is dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Hathaway, her grandchildren Rachelle Hathaway, Jessica (and Jerry Willis) and her great grandchildren Joshua, Jack, Zac, Mia and Jeremiah. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Hathaway and by her sons Steve and Bert Hathaway. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. A graveside service will be held on April 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Palm Cemetery, 1005 N New York Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789.
