Ryan James
Herndon
Sep 25, 1975 — Jun 4, 2026
Ryan James Herndon, 50, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on June 4, 2026. Ryan was born on September 25, 1975 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Coral, who was the center of his world. He loved spending time with her and creating memories together. One of their favorite traditions was setting up a tent in the living room and having their own little campouts together. Family meant everything to Ryan, and those who knew him knew how much he loved his daughter.Ryan enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved listening to Jimmy Buffett, spending time at the beach, watching football, and cheering on his favorite team, The Florida State Seminoles. He was the kind of person who was easy to talk to and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Whether talking about sports, life, or sharing stories, he had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcomed. He is survived by his daughter, Coral Herndon; his parents, Jacque and Tim Herndon; his sister, Heather Harmer, her husband, Joe Harmer, and their children, Peyton, Joey, and Brady Harmer; his brother, Jared Herndon, his wife, Ashley Herndon, and their children, Riley Sims and Sienna Herndon; as well as many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.Ryan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in our faith and in the memories we shared with him. We take peace in knowing that he is now with Jesus, free from pain, and watching over those he loved so dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations for his daughter Coral are greatly appreciated.
