Tammy Back Hotea

Tammy Hotea, beloved wife, mother and sister passed away on the morning of January 5th. Tammy enjoyed going to the Disney Parks with her family and spending time with her cats. She never met a stranger and could often times be found making friends with people in line waiting for a ride. She spent time working as a paraprofessional at Riverview High School. She was loved equally by staff and the many students she was able to help during her time there. She was a 25+ year cancer survivor of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. And was every bit a true warrior. She also enjoyed theater and would enjoy watching Broadway productions in her hometown of Detroit. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Tammy is survived by her husband Nick, daughter Alex, son Nicholas and sister Sherry.
