Theodoros Grammenos

April 17, 1940 — November 10, 2018

On Saturday, November 10th, Theodoros Grammenos peacefully passed away while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 17, 1940 in Athens, Greece to Constantinos Grammenos and Evdokia Theodorou. He worked in a family bakery where he eventually met his loving wife, Ourania. They married on September 12, 1965 and together had two beautiful daughters Evdokia and Polixeni. Before moving to the United States he traveled the country of Greece with monks to spread God's word. In 1973 Theodoros and his family moved to Long Island, NY where he lived for over 30 years. His last 15 years of life were lived in Lake Mary, FL where he enjoyed quality time with his wife and grandchildren.

Theodoros was a man that was passionate about faith, family, and helping others. He always put other people's needs above his own and loved with his whole heart. In Greek Theodoros means "God's Gift," which is a true affirmation to who he was and always will be to his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ourania; daughter Evdokia (Jose) Montero; daughter Polixeni (Paul) McMenamy; grandchildren, and great grandchild.
